PROFILE:

My functional knowledge in this industry includes ILEC ISP and OSP, Land Mobile Radio, Cellular, UMTS, GSM, LTE, Microwave-radio, and Wireless Broadband. I have been involved is all aspects of LEC telecommunications, telecommunication site development from upgrades on existing tower sites to construction of raw land (green field) tower sites. My management career includes a progressive level of administrative responsibility including departmental and project budgets, resource allocation, staff supervision, operations management, and strategic planning.

BACKGROUND:

·   Structural Analysis review of CDs using mappings, RFDS, SAs and multimedia to verify and redline CDs and generate revisions for A&E approval for construction

·   RFDS; read, redline and implement from RFDS and communicate needs with RF engineers and field personnel

·   Radio and Cell site installation expertise including tower, equipment, ancillary and electrical installations

Construction management of LTE, and UMTS builds in the Rocky Mountain Region.  Worked to launch market and build relationships with Client, GCs and Landlords while maintaining aggressive build schedule. Applied working knowledge of incumbent contractors and GCs to recommended and screen potential contractors for hire.  Interviewed and recommended GCs.  Preconstruction site walks of collocated LTE sites in two states. Generated SOWS and BOMS. Construction management of multiple AT&T 2C, Sector Add, DAS and LTE sites in the Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Kansas markets.  Creation and oversight of SOWs, BOMs, OOMs, MOPs, integration close outs, construction schedules, safety plans, managed contractors and client expectations.  Preconstruction reviews of electronic equipment power requirements, and budget requirements for site builds. Increased productivity of site builds through proactively training contractors on expectations and quality.

 

Managed Architectural firms in the creation of cell site design, editing and submittal of construction and Zoning drawings, Tower Structural Analysis (mapping and analysis) of build plans on over 400 sites concurrently. Controlled A&E cost by creating first revision “As Built” Tower drawings and Zoning Drawings. 

 

T1 Fiber Transport Manager for the Western Kansas market; delivered multiple T1s for GSM – UMTS upgrade project to over 100 sites in a 3 month period. Project included design, fiber procurement, construction, placement and provisioning. Co-lead of only project team to deliver project on time. Transport Manager on management team, which successfully reacquired the AT&T MNP (Minnesota Northern Plains) market from incumbent vender.
